Event Description

Urban Camping Roanoke provides and opportunity for locals and visitors alike to enjoy all the amenities of our downtown while camping in your RV or Camper right in the midst of Roanoke’s urban playground. Festival docking will be conveniently located across from the new Elmwood Park and Elmwood amphitheater complex within walking of our many museums, restaurants, coffee shops and music venues. There will be four prime weekends in the 2014 season with more to come next year!

Festival Weekend Pricing (Friday and Saturday nights)
RV’s + 5th Wheels | $50 Weekend Pass
Pop Ups + Campers | $40 Weekend Pass

What you get:
+ Reserved spot for entire festival weekend.
+ Trash bins and pick-up located on site.
+ A grounds employee will be on site for parking, directions, and maintained safety.
+ Port-o-johns available for use on site.
+ A common gathering tent with fire pit will be available throughout the weekend.

*Please Note: No plug-ins, no sewage, no water.

How It Works:
+ Parking opens at 5pm Friday evening on Festival Weekends and closes 5pm on Sunday post-festival. (Timing subject to exceptions as mandated by each festival)
+ RV spaces will be approximately 10 by 30, Campers will be 10 by 20
+ You may arrive anytime for the weekend but once you remove your camping gear, there is no re-entry.
+ Pop Ups and Campers can be towed in but cars/trucks must park in the parking garage located next door. You can come and go from garage and can enter the reserved camping lot at the time you plan to exit.
+ You may have a gas/propane grill away from your vehicle or combustible areas – charcoal and/or open flames are strictly prohibited.
+ Pets in areas or on leash are allowed. NO BARKING!
+ NOTE FOR FIRST WEEKEND (April 25-27) ONLY:  We are testing the idea of allowing generators to run all night.  Please note - this is at the discretion of the owners and this policy is subject to change.

* Please Note: An RV is defined as a vehicle designed for driving and camping. This does not include box trucks. A camper and pop up as defined as a free standing camping unit that can be trailered by a truck or car.
